Candy skulls

Top: Topshop
Necklace: Topshop
Boots: Primark sale

Hi Lovelies,
Just a quick outfit of the day,  i bought the skull necklace that i mentioned in my last post and i love it! it adds  a little pop of colour to outfits. I got these boots in from the sale section in primark for only £8, i fell in love with them when i saw them, although my family think they look chimney sweeper-esque. I've had these jeans for months now and this is my first time wearing them, i love the coated, shiny look they have, they remind me of the all saints coated jeans seen here onNicola Claire's blog, although they're a fraction of the price!

L'Oreal Lumi Magique Foundation

I recently purchased L'Oreal's new foundation : Lumi Magique, after it claimed to give a light reflecting 'dewy' look. Whilst i know there are many out there who hate dewy foundations, i strive to find the perfect one. I am constantly on the look out for a foundation that will provide me with a fresh faced look, which makes my skin look healthy, but not oily.

Firstly, i have combination skin, with an oily T-Zone and dry patches in other places. Dewy, liquid foundations aren't usually the best option for oily skin and don't have that much staying power, non the less, i wanted this one!
I picked up this foundation in the lightest colour rose pearl, although i'm not very pale i opted for this colour as i was worried about looking orange of i went any darker. Its consistency is a very thin scentless liquid, it gives medium coverage, although this is build able. It applies very easily and doesn't look at all cakey, it's not heavy and once on my skin it felt like i had no makeup on, bonus! Its has good staying power, although i have add a bit of powder after a few hours to keep it fixed (due to my oily T-Zone). All in all i love this foundation, its ease of application, the dewy look it creates and also the way it feels weightless on your skin!

Minty

Hi lovelies!

One of the biggest trends hitting the catwalk for SS2012 is pastels, with designers such as Louis Vuitton,Chanel, Prada, Phillip Lim and many more adorning the runways in pastel coloured garments.

Louis Vuitton SS2012
Chanel SS2012

Whilst these clothes are all absolutely amazing, they are also way out of my price range. Thankfully, the high street has manages to bring everyone perfect pastels but without the hefty price tags! I have fallen in love with the colour mint, and thankfully Topshop has fed my addiction with many beautiful mint coloured items!
